“Helpful staff but hotel tired and needing some TLC”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 October 2007

Stayed here for a trade fair taking place in Rimini trade fair. Staff very welcoming throughout the stay.

Hotel and rooms in general were clean but whether this was end of season or just too many groups staying in the hotel the fixtures and fittings are worn, scratched, stained or just plain missing. Ok don't laugh but do people really steal the plastic tube that inserts in the toilet roll and then clips into the ceramic holder tiled into the wall?

If your here for business and need to use the hotel wifi system with your laptop, cross your fingers. It worked intermittently with the intervention of a technician every day. If you hope to sit in your room and work you might be lucky, or you'll end up like me either sitting in the hotel corridor or down in the lobby.

The bedroom walls are paper thin so don't be surprised to hear everything that your neighbours , up, down to the side are doing and saying.

Breakfast, excellent coffee, this is the norm for Italy, buffet was ok but nothing to get up early for.

Didn't eat in the hotel restaurant.

Stay again, if nothing else is available i suppose so, but the situation of the hotle in regards to the pedestrianised centre is a good 10 minutes walk.

“Great comfort and service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 June 2006

We have just come home from a 9-days' stay at the 4 star Hotel Corrallo in Riccione. Our first night was not so good because we were given a room on the first floor. The room showed definite signs of wear and the tiny enclosed balcony overlooked the roof of the lower floor. The next day we asked to be moved to another room and got one on the 4th floor: it was basically the same type of room but the balcony was a lot nicer and we were afforded an unhindered view of the ocean.

The rooms were small but immaculately clean, the towels were changed daily and so were the beddings. We had a half-pension arrangement which proved to be quite good. The breakfast buffet was quite abundant but no eggs of any kind nor fresh fruit. The service here is very quick and efficient. We do recommend the lunch buffet, which is excellent. Also here, the service is very quick and efficient.

The bar was quite small, but the bartender,Andrea, would take ordered drinks out to pool area and if you wished it, also the towels for the recliners: EXCELLENT service and very friendly.

The hotel had also a private beach some 500 mtrs. from the main building. Here one had access to complimentary sun beds and towels.

The only negative for us was that this was a family hotel (we did not know this when we booked it over the phone) and there were many children. Pets were also allowed, so our sleep was interrupted by babies crying or some dog barking in the middle of the night.

Overall evaluation: a very good hotel that is very much above average with friendly and efficient staff.

Gentile Signora Micol 82,
Cordialmente
