Can only report that after making our reservation 9 months ago and re contacting during time how looking forward to being their guests and would like to pre pay how upset we were that they told us on arrival - no electricity very busy and took us to hotel around the corner. As checked into this hotel were met by others from Australia who told same story day previous.
When is a confirmed booking a booking?>?? After travelling virtually 3 nights to get to this hotel (Riccone) not in a good state to be told no room. Were they over booked? Did they decide to only honour bookings for longer than our 3 night stay? We were obviously - like the other family group not welcomed and ditched. ThanK YOU Hotel Vienna for taking us and being so helpful and genuinely welcoming. May your rooms always be full and theirs empty !!!!~!Your staff a delight particularly when you got thrown guests already very upset and not happy.
