We "discovered" this gem at the top of the cable car ride from Bolzano (and a 2-3 minute walk from the top) only by a booking accident. But what a felicitous accident! We intended to spend one night and because of the charm of the hotel and the grace of the family that runs it, we stayed two nights (which included our anniversary). Ample breakfasts will prepare you for any number of fairly easy hiking trails in these beautiful hills. You can then return to a wonderful sauna or steam room, followed by a superbly cooked meal. The hosts managed very well in English and were accommodating at every stage of our stay. Highly recommended!!
