“Great out of season treasure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

We stayed at the Hotel Parsifal in Ravello, Italy for several days in January. While they probably can't take credit for the sunny days and warm weather, the staff did just about everything else they could to make our stay there a delight. The room was simple but clean and well appointed, with high ceilings and spectacular window views. We had wonderful breakfasts and exquisite dinners of local produce and seafood in the hotel restaurant, and were plied with cappuccino whenever we needed it. Even though most of the town is closed in the off season, they saw to it that we had all we needed and wanted, including solving a luggage emergency with speed and efficiency. My wife says to be sure to mention that Antonio and the staff are all cute.

“Lovely hotel for honeymoon”

We stayed at the Hotel Parsifal (room 14) on our honeymoon for 2 nights. The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from the main town square. The entrance to the hotel is through a beautiful courtyard with a stunning view of the cliffs and sea. The room itself was very comfortable, and although it wasn’t as modern as the other places we stayed, we were very happy with it. The terrace was huge and had a table, chairs and a couple of deck chairs on it. The views from the terrace were spectacular – one side had a view of the cliffs and sea, and the other had the valley and hills. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and certainly thought it was value for money.

“Just like home”

This hotel has a wonderful location with breathtaking views but what makes it unique is the friendly and personal service you receive from the owners. We arrived at about 8.30pm on a very windy and rainy cold evening and we were treated like royalty. Room for 3 was spacious with a beautiful view, too bad the weather was awful. We will definitel return

“beautiful historic hotel in Ravello- nothing luxuray but still lovely and amazing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 December 2011

Ravello is simply beautiful, anyone who only visits Ravello for one day or a quick stop on a boat tour is missing out. The views are breathtaking, the town is just beautiful, and this hotel is perfect. It has tonnes of character and charm, the staff are extremely friendly and kind, the breakfast is lovely, and the rooms are cute and well appointed. It is really just one of the most beautiful and charming hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Definitely memorable. Truthfully though after looking around the town I’m not sure if you could find a bad hotel in Ravello – all the hotels we popped into seemed to be just adorable and fantastic. What a beautiful town.

“More than we hoped for!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 November 2011

Hotel Parsifal was the favorite location for both my husband and myself on our trip to Italy. We were in Rome and Venice as well as Ravello, of which the other hotels had a few more stars or diamonds by their names. (Nov. 2011) This hotel is run by a family who are so exceptionally hospitable in every aspect of their hotel business. The room overlooked the coast line, and was the most exceptional sight we've ever awakened to see each day of our visit. The charm of the old convent building as well as being so close to the main square made this an ideal location. The restaurant served fabulous food and made sure that we had plenty of breakfast/ coffee/ cappuccino each day before heading out. They helped to organize our daily activities and we truly had the most magical time while on the Amalfi coast! We will definitely return with our children to Hotel Parsifal so that they can experience this bit of heaven on earth!
