An unforgettable experience, a beautiful property with excellent service!

The setting of the hotel is probably one of the most stunning of any hotel I have ever experienced, at the top of Ravello and overlooking the Amalfi Coast, with gorgeous terraces and gardens containing the pool, the gym and the spa. Inside, the hotel is just as stunning with white marble and opulent furnoshings, which beatifully complement the style of the property. The roof-top sun-deck and jacuzzi is an especially great touch with (even more) stunning views.

While we only had one of the very small (and "slightly" less expensive) rooms facing the street, it was still very nicely furnished, with a perfectly good sized marble-clad bathroom with Bulgari toiletries and an extremely comfortable bed and quiet A/C.

The hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle to their sea-side villa, about a 20 minute drive. This well worth the trip for a day of relaxing on the private terraces by the sea, with a lovely restaurant to have lunch or a drink in. On a costline where the beaches are extremely small and usually crowded, this is a great little feature and one which not many guests seem to have discovered when we stayed.

Albeit this hotel is certainly not cheap, it is one where I feel it is worth spending the money at least once and enjoying all it has to offer (the food and cocktails on the terrace are especially great, while Rosselinis restaurant is also well worth a meal for a special occasion). One reviewer said that it is hotels like this that are the reason for going to work; and I for one totally agree and can only hope I get the chance to stay here again!!
