“Comfortable hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 February 2011

The hotel is located in the center of the new town. The old town is reachable in 35 minutes walking. The room was clean and quite big. Breakfast was rather good. Free internet wi-fi connection was available. The hotel has a private garage which is available but not for free. The staff was really kind and gave us all the information to spend our time at best.

“Good Solid Hotel Experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 January 2011

We were on a self guided tour of Sicily over the Christmas holiday and stayed in this hotel for two nights. The hotel rooms were exactly as pictured on the hotel website and the room was comfortable. The hotel is in the modern (high) section of town. We stopped to see the monuments (Baroque) and to find the birthplaces of my husband's parents who are now deceased. The front desk spoke fluent English. It helped to be talking to them face to face rather than over the telephone. Breakfast was Italian. Lots of cakes and bread. The scrambled eggs were precooked and kept in a warmer. Juice and coffee. If you expected a full American breakfast it was not provided.

I would classify this hotel as a three star business class hotel that provides solid comfort to its guests. We also use the laundry service that had great turnaround ( same day in one case) and it was done at a reasonable rate. There were interesting restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. We asked the front desk for recommendations and were pleased with them.

Via Roma is one of the main commercial streets in town. There is shopping available on the street.

“Quiet, comfortable after a long trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 August 2009

Great location, comfortable room. Quiet and dark enabling us to sleep well after a long flight from Jacksonville, Fl and a bus ride from Catania, Italy. The welcoming front desk got us settled in our room efficiently and were very friendly. We enjoyed the cafe and the restaurant although we did sleep through the breakfast that was included in the price. Great location. The street is lined with great shopping and there were many restaurants close by. Very clean, modern room and atmosphere. We would highly recommend it and would stay there again. We had reserved the hotel and were concerned about missing our reservation due to delay at the Rome airport but everything went very smoothly. The hotel staff are very professional and give exceptional service.

“Ok alternative in a city of limited choices”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 July 2009

This was supposedly one of the best hotels in Town. Hotel reception in new and nice, the rooms are ok, nothing more. Flat screen TV, and rather large, but 80's style interior. The old city )Ibla) is the thing to see in this town and it was really wow. almost no restaurants close to the hotel, and after walking around for more than 2 hours we deceided to take a pizza back to our room from a takeaway pizza place we found across the bridge and downd to the left through the arches. PS, Very bad internet connection, No signal on most of the repeaters
