we stayed for 4 nights and we could not have wished for a better stay. the staff were lovely, food good and the gardens and pool also lovely. The hotel is in a good position to walk into the lovely town of Pula but equally well placed to get to the lovely beaches all around the coast.. Can't wait to go back there.

We booked this hotel fairly late having been badly let down by a hotel in Cagliari (Miramare). Our booking was by phone and the receptionist was extremely helpful. When we arrived, everything was very efficient and we were shown to a lovely apartment (there were no rooms left). At the time we arrived, the hotel could still offer us cold food, but the receptionist called a local restaurant to see if we could still get a hot meal (we could).

The hotel is well appointed with wonderful grounds that include many exotic plants and trees and a very nice swimming pool. Breakfast is good and the staff are excellent.

My husband, baby daughter and I stayed at the Lantana hotel for 1 week in September. It was still very hot at 28C every day. The hotel is very nice with a lovely pool, gardens and restaurant.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom self catering room. The room was clean and nicely decorated. It had basic self catering equipment which is all we were after. We wanted to eat out in the evenings but have the facilities cook for out 10 month old baby. There is a kettle (not electric), microwave, fridge freezer and a two ring hob. You could request a toaster from reception if you wanted one and left a deposit. We think a toaster should really have been supplied in each room.

The hotel gardens are beautiful as is the pool area. The town is a 15min walk away and is small with a few restaurants. We ate in three and they were all very nice. Only one served just pizza and pasta. The walk into town can be tricky though with a buggy as the pavements are too small for a buggy so you have to walk in the road. We ate at the hotel for the other nights of our holiday. The restaurant is situated on a patio overlooking the pool. The food was very nice and the menu was different every night. The service was also very good.

The hotel offers a shuttle bus to the beach which we used a few times and was very good. The driver was always there to pick us up at the correct time. The beach is pretty with shallow clear water and there is a restaurant overlooking the bay.

The staff at the Lantana were very very helpful and friendly. We had a lovely relaxing holiday. We would recommend this hotel to families with babies and small children or couples looking for a quite relaxing holiday.

Hotel Lantana is a great place to stay in southern Sardinia. The hotel is very pretty- the grounds are beautiful and immaculatley clean! The true star of this hotel is the staff. The staff here are the nicest, sweetest people you will ever come across traveling! They could not be any more accomodating. My luggage was lost the 1st day of my vacation, and these women went above the call of duty to help me get medicine, new clothes, etc.

We really loved downtown Pula- the piazza is adorable and very fun at night. The beaches in and around Pula are beautiful.
