We stayed here rather than Florence as we had already visited florence on a previous trip.

Prato is a pleasant town to visit in its own right. The hotel is very close to one of the train stations of which we travelled to Florence to make connections.

The hotel in also on the main square and close to amenitied like shops and restaurants.

The hotel was incredibly well priced and included a standard breakfast.

The rooms are no longer modern but are comfortable, large and clean.

The reception and breakfast staff are very friendly.

I would recommend this hotel based upon the fact that at the price tha is paid it provided very good value for money.

This is a nice family run hotel. We were given a spacious room with a nice view , when we turned up late on a Friday night in November. Basic facilities but everything was clean and the staff friendly although they had limited English.

We stumbled upon this great little family run hotel.We stayed here for 2 nights. Simple, clean and quiet rooms. Elevator to move baggage. Great european breakfast served by Mom and Daughter with Papa serving up genuine hospitality.
Gianni, the son , runs the reception and will charm you.

Stayed at this hotel in May 2004. The hotel is excellently located in the down town Piazza of Prato. You are seconds away from wonderful shopping, trattoria's and architectural sites.

The Giardino hotel is simply wonderful. The Hotel doesnt Have many amenities but offers the best hospitality ever. The rooms are spacious, clean and you have a full bathroom. At the Hotel's Lobby you will find a breakfast room , where breakfast is served daily from 06:30 to about 10:00. Their breakfast is continental with wonderful assorted pastries and cheeses. If you'd like an afternoon coffee or aperetivo just ask reception.

They also have internet services, free parking, and sometimes they will also valet it for you. Make sure not to miss the outside market on Wednesdays right on Via Magnolfi all day!
