Lovely location with great views, no steps and a quiet, un-touristy wonderful town.
After visiting Positano or Amalfi, it was delightful to return to Praiano! There are a few good restaurants (La Strada a favorite!), very few shops and overall quiet. The B&B is a bit quirky but delightful. We were in the "gold room" on the balcony level. The room was huge! A queen size bed, two bedside tables plus a sitting area with loveseat, ottoman and a beautiful desk with stool. A small fridge with mini-bar and a book case filled with books (all in Italian) completed the room. The bathroom had great glass tiles and a jacuzzi tub with shower attachment. The other two rooms on our floor were more "theme" decorated--one with cupids and red hearts and the other with a full wall mural. We were thrilled with the gold room. We did not get to see the rooms on the floor below.
Breakfast (4 euros each) consisted of coffee, juice, pastries, yougurt and cold cereal. We had breakfast once during our 4 night stay and choose to opt for better coffee and a pastry alone a bit down the street for 3 euro each daily. No problem with declining the offered breakfast at the hotel.
The hosts could not have been more helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
