“Amazing Views”

A family run hotel with Mum Uncle Son & Daughter. Once again they made us feel so welcome. A great location and off street parking where we left out hire car and found it much easier to use the local shuttle buses to explore the different towns on the Amalfi. Great location with priceless views and in a much quieter and more relaxing town. The decor is a bit 70's but location, friendliness of the family and staff, and great local restaurants made up for all that.

“Social center of Praiano! Great place to stay and browse the Internet”

Although we didn't stay at this hotel so I cannot comment on the rooms, my husband and I were there almost every day of our 2 week stay in Praiano. The staff is incredibly friendly...and since it is a family owned and family run establishment, everyone is there to help you enjoy your stay in the hotel, Praiano and the Amalfi coast! Luigi and his father Michele speak great English too...
Also, they are one of the few locations in Praiano that (1) has an actual desktop computer you can use on an hourly basis (for charge if you are not a guest), and (2) allows you to purchase access to their wifi for less than almost anywhere else in the Italy. If you will be in Praiano a while, as them for the weekly wifi rate! Great deal!
Because of their central location, their friendly and helpful staff, their large screen TV playing sport events from around the world, their bar and their wifi - La Fioriere is a SOCIAL HUB of Praiano...even if you are not staying there, stop by for some drinks and the friendly atmosphere! You are certain to meet some cool people ;-D

“Hands down the best place to stay on the Amalfi Coast”

When we arrived at Le Fioriere after a very adventurous (to say the least!) bus trip from Sorrento, we were greeted by the warm and friendly smile of the owner Rosanna. As we were shown to our rooms, another guest that was checking out said you ‘are going to love this place and have the best time’ and after a week at Le Fioriere we did just that!
We had travelled extensively throughout Italy for the past month and had not experienced anything like the first class service at Le Fioriere. The owners make you feel part of the family and go out of their way to talk to you and provide recommendations about the village of Praiano (restaurants, the way to the beach, boat trips etc) as well as the rest of the Amalfi Coast. Beyond that, they are genuinely interested in getting to know each of their guests and making sure you have an enjoyable holiday.
We found Praiano itself to be the best part of the Amalfi Coast, it had a traditional Italian feel and was very quite at night time, despite being located on the main road. There was a number of good restaurants in the village, our favourite right next door to the hotel called “La Brace” for dinner and a little pizzeria for lunch run by a lovely young Italian couple (I believe it was called Pizzeria Gastronomia).
We stayed in an ocean view room, which is highly recommended – you can see from Positano all the way to Capri – the views are breathtaking. You can walk down 300 steps to the local beach, which is beautiful for swimming. Along the way you get to see how the locals live, with fresh tomatoes hanging from the windows, lemon trees and the friendly cat lazing on the footpath.
Breakfast was good with a mixture of pastries, scrambled eggs, yogurt, bread, juice etc. It was also great that you can have free Wifi in your room.
I highly recommend staying at Le Fioriere and Praiano if you are visiting the Amalfi Coast. Thanks to Rosanna, Luigi and Rosa. We will be back soon for our honeymoon!

Room Tip: Book an Ocean View room, its worth it for that little bit extra

“Felt like part of the family”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 October 2011

The hotel itself is basic. The rooms are modern, spacious and comfortable, kept impeccably clean. But, what really makes the hotel is the hospitality. From the moment we arrived after a nerve-wracking drive along the coast, the family welcomed us to the hotel with info on the area, itinerary suggestions and more. Every time we'd return to the hotel, they asked where we had been, what we saw, if we were enjoying ourselves. I felt like family!

Having a guaranteed parking space is invaluable if you're going by car. And, when we were there, the buses were packed. We actually watched 2 pass us by because they were so full before we hopped back in the car and drove ourselves to Amalfi. So, if you can take the narrow twists and turns, a car may be worth it. If you don't take a car, the bus does stop right in front of the hotel, which is convenient, assuming there are actually seats for you.

The hotel is located in Praiano, right in the middle of the Amalfi Coast between Amalfi and Positano. It's a beautiful, small town with a nice walk down to the water. Because the town is small, the restaurant and shopping choices are a bit limited. The hotel has a full, reasonably priced bar though and was a fun place to spend our evening.

“Great hotel in a great location”

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful; they answered any questions we had. The location of the hotel is great as it is right across the street from the view of the sea as well as within walking distance to many restaurants. The town itself is also beautiful and peaceful. The room was clean, large and bright. The air conditioning worked well also. Highly recommend.
