“The happiest place on earth”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 November 2011 via mobile

Located a short boat ride from positano, le sirene is the perfect place to relax.
Rooms are comfortable, beach and beach beds are relaxing and the free boat service to positano is excellent. Da Adolfo next door provides fabulous people watching during the day, with what feels like your own island back to serenity when the last boat leaves in the late afternoon.
However the real highlight is sonia and her staff. They are a fabulous team that made our holiday feel like we were staying with friends. Professional, yet friendly and with great humour, they provide an environment that allows guests to be looked after, yet fully relax.
Another highlight is the amazing food. A short set of dishes done impeccably well. Some of the best food we ate on our entire trip.
Overall, we cannot recommend le sirene highly enough. It provided some of the best memories of our trip. I only wish we could head back there every year. Best wishes to sonia and her team - they deserve every success.

“Dinner on the beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 October 2011

We celebrated my Sisters 50th in October 2011 by having dinner on the beach. 9 of us were picked up and dropped us off by boat from our beach. Food, service and staff were excellent and very friendly. Enquired about getting there by foot and told over 400 steps down from roadway. Had a mooch around hotel and looked very nice.
Free boat runs daily every hour 10:00 to 13:30 from Positano to La Sirene return 16:00 to 20:00 will pick up at beach’s enroute just have to call and book, if you have a late finish like we did happy to take you back whenever.
Would recommend food to anyone and just as good if you want a quite day on the beach.

“One of the most beautiful places”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 September 2011

If you are looking to stay on the Amalfi coast- please consider Le Sirene! We stayed for a long weekend and didnt want to leave. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was modern. Sonia and her staff made the experience most memorable. We went into Positano twice but never dined anywhere else. The laidback friendly atomsphere, wonderful food and service allowed us to relax and enjoy the days. One of the best beach vacations we have had to date. The staff help arrange our departure back to Rome so we could stay the extra night- we were very sad to leave and feel as if we have made life long friends. We wish them all the best and will return as soon as possible. i would recommend this for couples, friends and a group of friends.

Room Tip: i would treat yourself to an ocean view room- a beautiful view and you can't beat falling asleep...

“A gem”

Come check out this friendly B&B (not cheap!) with beach only 100yards from the your room.
Make sure to stay a couple of days, ask for a room with ocean view and enjoy the atmosphere. Relaxed, friendly, loud but unforgettable. Rooms are very very plain, bathroom modern, balcony overlooking the cute beach and sky at night is awesome. Take the free hotel shuttle boat (leaves every hour) to down town Positano, get a gelato, relax at the Caprici restaurant (gorgeous food), shop at the "Antique" & get a beach dress for 10 or 20$.
If you're half board: take your lunch at the hotel & do dinner in Positano. Taxi boats will take you back to the hotel for 10 euros each until 5am.
Bottom line: I'd go back anytime, off season.

“FELLINI”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 August 2011

If you got kids, this is the place. If you like Fellini, this is it. Rooms are 240 w/ half board (lunch or dinner) w/sea view (August). Don't expect too much luxury, the rooms are plain but clean, bathroom modern. View: heaven. Where do you find your own little bay, little hotel w/beach front for that money in August in Europe? In Positano @ Le Sirene!
Until 10am you're ok - just before the crowds come walking down from the hill and head towards the 3 sqm public beach. Within 30min, the whole place looks like a favela. Other crowds "float" in by boat and head to the restaurant and beach "Da Adolfo", next door. It gets really crowded and loud. Until 5pm. Don't even try to do a siesta - forget it.
After 5pm, you're in paradise again. Dinner, evening, night is amazing. Family and staff are the kindest persons on earth. Eccentric? Probably. Foods great, breakfast just a bit too unpretentious.
Nevertheless, the place's a gem, unique. Come and stay 2-3 nights, it's worth the experience! Take the boat in Positano, 5 minutes later you're in a different world. Check it out.
