My wife and I met her brother and wife there for their 30th wedding anniversary in late October. it was a very last minute and quick trip so things had to go right. They did. From the Naples airport pickup, to the check in, facilities, very friendly staff and location it was all great! One of the best 3 day trips I can ever recall having. The excellent views and wonderful rooms were important but it was the endless friendliness and helpfulness of the staff that made all the difference. We will certainly go back and place this hotel and location at the top of our places to go.

This place was amazing. Right from the first greeting by the receptionist through to the personal service offered by the car park chauffeur/porter.
It was October so quiet in Positano. The weather didn't behave, but you can't have it all and certainly not the hotel's fault.
The hotel was fault-less. They recommended bars, cafes and restaurants to go to which were fantastic every time. The room was gigantic with a lovely balcony and view. the hotel was spotlessly clean and maid-service was twice daily, for cleaning and towel change if necessary.
The buffet breakfast offered was in a stunning location and was very varied.
We would love to go back.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights at the beginning of October. We couldn't have chosen better lodging at any price! The hotel is situated on the hillside overlooking Positano and the glorious blue waters of the Mediterranian. Positano's main street is just outside the hotel front door making it quite convenient for walking to the beach and enjoying the varied shopping of the area. Numerous wonderful restaurants are just steps from the hotel. The staff of Punta Regina was always helpful in giving helpful information to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Our room was especially nice with climate controlled air conditioning, tile floors, marble bathroom, and a wonderful king sized bed. The spacious room opened onto a private balcony with a view of the harbor to die for. Housekeeping was outstanding. Our included breakfasts included hot items such as bacon and eggs, with the usual cold cereals, fresh fruit and juices, and a nice selection of pastries. We were served on the covered open air terrace with that incomprable view. We would return in a heartbeat.

I just got back from a 4 day stay at Punta Regina in Positano and was traveling by myself. This hotel was wonderful. Francesca and the entire staff was extremely helpful, spoke English, gave me helpful directions everywhere I needed to go. The hotel is very clean and the room was great. The Four Seasons it isn't - the hotel and rooms are older and minimalistic but very comfortable and has everything you need. The shower was great. I'm big on water pressure. The room is all about the view and it doesn't disappoint. The only very minor negative was the breakfast each morning. The eggs were cold but everything else was perfect. The service amazing. The location of the hotel is about a 10 minute walk down to the "town" where all the shopping is and what a beautiful walk it is. The walk back up after a long day of walking around and exploring isn't as fun as the walk down :) Positano is not a place for people who have difficulty walking so make sure you are in good physical condition. Great hotel. Highly recommend.
