“Beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 December 2011 via mobile

Everything about this hotel is brilliant from the staff, rooms with stunning views, gorgeous food.
Rooms and bathrooms were large clean, comfortable and very quiet. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choices. Magical mornings drinking coffee outside enjoying the views and watching the world go by. We dined in the restaurant two of our four nights and it was one of the best meals in Italy! The owner Robyn and her family made us feel very welcomed. They are all very kind, warm and helpful. Robyn even organized our return transfers from Naples at a reasonable price. Our driver patrizia was delight and a wealth of knowledge and waited for us whilst we toured Pompeii on our way to positano. Do not hesitate to stay here. It will leave an impression long after your holiday ends. Great memories till next time.

“Very friendly family owned hotel”

My wife and I went to Positano for vacation and stayed at Villa Gabrisa for four nights during a low season (middle of November). When I was searching for the hotel, I was choosing mainly between Villa Franca and Villa Gabrisa. Finally I decided in favour of the second because it is a smaller family owned hotel which has only nine rooms. I am glad it was not a mistake. At arrival we were greeted by a girl, which had not only excellent English, but also Russian (very nice surprise indeed). The room number 6 - spacious with a big terrace and a breathtaking view! Breakfast was served in the room because the restaurant was closed for vacation, which was a mild disappointment. The service was impeccable and transfer to the Napoli train station at a reasonable price was a great helper. Overall, I sincerely recommend this hotel to all travellers.

Room Tip: Rooms at the second floor are bigger, third floor rooms are small.

“Cute hotel with nice views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 November 2011

We stayed in the Villa Gabrisa for one night. The woman at the desk, who was from New Zealand, was very nice and helpful as well. Our room was small, as expected, with a sweet balcony where we ate our breakfast and had a cocktail before dinner. The bathroom was really pretty with gorgeous tiles. Everything was really clean. We didn't have a closet, but considering we were there only one night, it wasn't an issue.
Because the hotel is pretty high up you get nice views of Positano. We were on the third floor, so if you have lots of luggage you probably would rather be on the second since the elevator stops at the second floor.
The hotel was quiet and the beds were comfortable.

Room Tip: Definitely get a balcony. If you have a lot of luggage, you may not want to carry them up to the 3r...

“Great View, Friendly Atmosphere would stay again”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 October 2011

Stayed on the second floor in a huge room with a wonderful balcony. With all the stairs in Positano we LOVED the jacuzzi bath at the end of the day. Breakfast was wonderful.

Room Tip: Room 2 had a great view and nice size balcony

We just returned from our trip to Italy and spent two days at the Villa Gabrisa. This was a lovely hotel with very nice hosts . They arranged our car service from the train and back for 100 euros. The room was clean and good size with beautiful deck and views. They distance from beach is fine - good length of a walk but fun. The restaurant for dinner was excellent. Breakfast was adequate, not the best I had in Italy vbut very good. Would love to go back here again in the summer!
