“Just perfect”

Our room was beautifully furnished and came with stunning views over the Positano beach and the sparkling Mediterranean Sea. It doesn't get much better than this and our room came with a friendly white dove that we fed by hand daily on our veranda!!! Many great restaurants were just a short stroll either along the beach front or further up the hill. Shops are aplenty on our doorstep. The bed was very comfortable and the clean bathroom had a shower.
The only down side was that we had to wheel our bags from the designated parking station to the hotel - about 300 metres but the room and the view was well worth it.
During our stay we booked a personal return boat trip along the wonderful coast line to the Isle of Capri. The coastline is stunning and the view back towards Positano should not be missed.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the front of the hotel on the two top floors so you get a view of the sea.

“Met Every Expectation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 January 2012

We stayed at Villa La Tartana in September 2011 for one week. It is a delightful, charming and perfectly postioned hotel in the heart of Positano with delightful views of the beach and the endless comings and goings of all manner of boats. The staff were friendly and helpful and we felt very welcomed.

I would highly recommend this little hotel, we simply had the best time of our lives.

“Great staff! Great Location! Great Views!”

The staff (Alessia, Carmela, and Fabrizio) at Villa La Tartana were the friendliest and most helpful staff out of all the hotels we stayed at during our vacation in Italia. They always greeted us with a smile and asked what they could do to help us. The staff advised us of great restaurants, bus and boat schedules, and things not to miss during our stay. The hotel is conveniently located near the beach, shopping and restaurants. The hotel rooms are filled with natural light and immaculately clean. Our room had a balcony overlooking the beach and Mediterranean, which was a great spot for enjoying a glass of wine and relaxing. Highly recommended.

“Spectacular views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 November 2011

For 10 years I have been planning to visit Positano for my 40th birthday. I was recommended by a friend to stay at Villa La Tartana. As soon as I saw the website I was sold! The rooms were picture perfect, what you see is what you get. Right from the moment I booked, Alessa and Carmela were so helpful. They organised a driver when we needed it, Antonio was lovely, I recommend you ask for him, he spoke very good english.

Alessa and Carmela helped to create a perfect birthday dinner at Cafe Positano. A car picked us up and took us to the restaurant overlooking Positano. We enjoyed a private balcony and watched the moon rise over the mountains, very romantic. The evening was perfect.

Thank you Villa La Tartana for the perfect birthday.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony on the end, closest to the ocean, the balconies are slightly larger an...

“Great Location and Great Hotel!”

My husband and I stayed here at the end of September for 4 night. The location is great, right next to the church a minute walk from the beach. The hotel is in great condition, nice airy white rooms. We were lucky enough to be located on the top floor with an ocean view which was spectacular. The staff were very helpful and assisted booking us restaurants in the evening. Highly reccomend this hotel -we had a great stay!

Room Tip: Rooms facing the ocean with balcony.
