Things to note:
No mini bar in rooms.
The pool / spa is not heated
Lovely family run hotel.
Lack of information about the town and hotel available in the room ( you have to ask for that).
The restaurant in house is as good as any in town

Conca d'Oro ...... Wow what a veiw worth the 106 step up .... which get easier as the week goes on .... The staff were amazing so helpful, clean hotel (cleaners were so nice and helpful) our room was large and very pretty with a balcony which had the most amazing veiw ...... great value for money ...... veiw to die for ....had a wonderful holiday and loved the jaquazzi in the hot weather ....would return even with the steps to the hotel (People who hate walking or struggle would be best not to go to positano or this hotel)

As a solo traveller I booked a small room at the Conca D'Oro advertised as having a "sea view". I was delighted to find upon arrival that it had not simply a sea view but actually a balcony overlooking the sea, treating me to the most spectacular views at sunrise, in the late afternoon, and by the light of the moon. The room itself was clean, comfortable, spacious, and bright, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is near Fornillo beach, which is the better of Positano's two beaches, and only a short walk from the center of town. Yes, there are stairs to climb--you can't avoid them in Positano--but it was well worth it to enjoy the beauty and comfort Conca D'oro offered. I look forward to returning!

Good rooms, Good staff but instead near Beach is not The main Beach. Very Good terrace w/ spa.
