Positano is a wonderful little town and Hotel Pasitea is great value for those wanting a little of it all. It is centrally located in a town of steep cliffs and boasts amazing views. The staff was kind and helpful, the rooms were clean and bright, and the walk down through the town and to beaches should not be passed up.
Be advised: the hotel is located on a one way street that goes through the town. It is not convenient to drive to and from, but the hotel does provide an option for parking in this cliff side town so you may walk to everything.

There is nothing like the Amalfi Coast and there is no better place to experience this than in Positano at the Hotel Pasitea. The management are at your service at all times with tips on were to eat how to get around and anything else you will need. The location gives you a wonderful view of the sea and the cliffside homes with a easy walk to the main beach and restaurant area.

Pasitea must mean beautiful views, great walks, a stepping stone to the amalfi. Our room was a suite (sweet) and had it's own frontage, a magic spot. Staff were very helpful from the cleaners to the kitchen. The hotel is surrounded by good restaurants and local content.

Hotel Pasitea was a great choice for our recent trip to Positano. The hotel has a central location, delicious breakfast and an amazing staff. As we entered the hotel, we were visually greeted by an amazing collection of original artwork and award-winning photography. The staff, always friendly and helpful, were a delight to interact with. They went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. Our room was beautiful, immaculately clean & the balcony was huge, with the most gorgeous view you can imagine. Breakfast is served in a bright, open area and included juices, fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, delightful pastries and coffee/tea. The staff in the breakfast area were always welcoming & attentive.
FYI: Positano should be called the city of stairs. There are stairs everywhere! My calves were sore for days! But, that's part of what makes this place so charming.
TIP: If you are interested in photography, we highly recommend the Photo Tour of Positano. Ask for info at the front desk. The tour is led by award-winning photographer Vito Fusco. He is the nicest person, genuinely interested in sharing his love of photography with others and he knows absolutely everyone in Positano! We spent half a day with Vito and learned more in that time than in 6-wk session photo classes. Trust me, you won't be sorry!
