Visited Pistoia on the way to Florence (Firenze).
Pistoia is a lovely town with the usual attractions "duomo, battisterie, piazza, town hall etc"
But it seems to be overlooked by tourists and is therefore relatively quiet.
The hotel is family run and friendly.
The rooms are a bit old, but are fine, and there is free wi-fi.
The hotel is in the "restricted traffic area" but as a hotel guest you can drive and park here (inform the hotel of your vehicle licence plate after your arrival)
We found two Michelin restaurants and one Routiards restaurant, so finding good food was not difficult.
