“Fantastic Hotel”

This is a fantastic hotel - one of the best we've ever stayed in. The hotel staff are friendly and very helpful. Food quality is great. The scenery in the surrounding area is breathtaking with paths and a cable car minutes walk from the hotel. Spa facilities are excellent too.

We went on the outings arranged by the hotel - hill walking in the Dolomites. Hotel arranged free coaches both to and back from the walk.

We had a great break and will be back again before too long.

“a dreamy place”

wonderful spa, relaxing and comfortable place, delicious food and nice staff. It's in the centre of ortisei, it's a very luxurious place, we can just spend a day in he hotel enjoying the spa.it is on two levels, one in the open air where you can admire the breath taking landscape of the Dolomiti, and one inside where you have plenty of saunas and hydromassage s available...it's not the usual spa.if you like walking, it's very close to the mountains..In the summer it's beautiful but I think that in the winter it's really worth to go back there after a day skiing.

“Worth the splurge in the Dolomites!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 June 2011

We just got back yesterday from our vacation in Italy and Adler was definitely a highlight! First of all, we had the opportunity to drive all through the Dolomites (from Val Gardena to Cortina) and Ortisei, where Adler is located, is in our opinion, one of the most beautiful areas. You feel like you're in the middle of a Ricola ad, complete with soaring snowy peaks, alpine meadows with wildflowers and cows in the hills with bells on. The residents of Ortisei keep the town immaculate. Our favorite things about Adler were the daily included activities (mountain biking and mountain BBQ with Verena, daily hikes). We also did Via Ferrata rock climbing which is not to be missed if rock climbing is your thing. You can book an exceptional alpine guide (Lucas is fabulous!) with the guides right across the street from Adler. The room was very clean and comfortable (and I am a stickler in this dept). The food was excellent (dinner and breakfast was included), plentiful to a fault, and included some local dishes which were a mix of Italian and Austrian cuisine. The cured meats like 'speck' were really delicious. The pool and spa facilities were nice but frankly we were so busy outdoors that we really didn't use the spa much at all. We really enjoyed having drinks on the deck of the bar in the late afternoon after an adventure, admiring the peaks in all directions, before hitting the hot tub. Adler is a very special place and we will definitely be back!

“We liked it so much we have booked for next year!”

Others have extolled the virtues of the hotel and spa, it is indeed lovely. After a day of skiing followed by a swim in the salt pool and then relaxing in the Panorama sauna by a flickering fire fire watching the mounains turn pink at sunset, what more could you ask?
The only niggle is the system of vouchers for bath robes and pool towels, very fiddly when you arrive, why don't they simply put them in the bedrooms. Do they have a problem with them being pinched? Nonetheless we are returning in 2012, and it would seem so do lots of other guests.Ciao, see you next year!
