I stayed there from 21st till 22nd of September.
The location of the hotel is perfect for the chill out. The hotel is on the hill with the view of the city. In the back of the hotel there is plenty of the vineyards. The hotel is ca. 50min from Genova and 10min from Outlet shopping.
The hotel itself is clean, the customer service is very good and helpful. I can say anything negative about the hotel.
The room I had was big enough with the balcony on garden side. In my opinion the room needs a little bit of renovation. One disadvantage that there was no bottle of the water in the room.
We had a business dinner at the hotel for 12 guests. The food was very good. Customer service too.
The breakfast- poor.
Anyway, I would recommend it for a weekend stay.

Villa Pomela is 45 minutes from Genova airport and just 5 minutes for the outlet shopping mall. As you enter the property, you wind your way up a beautiful drive bordered by georgeous trees. The outside of the villa is impressive, but the inside is lacking. The hotel says it is a four star, but not sure by whose rating. Nothing is wrong with the place, it is just in need of a renovation. Our room had a wonderful large balcony over looking the garden, which was lovely, and nothing is wrong with the room per se - the decor is a bit tired and the bathroom although large needs renovation. However, the front desk help were pleasant and very helpful in recommending wineries and chocolate shops. Lastly the breakfast is nothing special and the help is a bit surely. For value for your money I am sure there are better alternatives.

It's really a luxury place to stay! Villa Pomela is 19th century beautifull building renovated into very nice 4 stars' hotel, which has very picteresque rooms with a wide balconies and a very good restaurant. The hotel provides you with complimentary drinks and snacks which were very appreciated as it rained outside when we arrived. We stayed here for 1 night to visit Seravalle outlet. Actually there are a few hotels nearby. The hotel is a few kilometers away from the Novi Ligure train station and you need to get a taxi to reach the hotel. And you should also get a taxi to and from outlet with a fixed price (15 Euro). I would recommend it for a romantic stay in the early autumn.
