“Destination Wedding”

The purpose of our trip was to attend a family destination wedding and christening. After spending 2 busy days in Rome, arriving at Podere Monti was a relaxing change of pace. The scenery was breathtaking and the accommodations were perfect for our large group. Each bedroom suite had an individual feel with its own color scheme and interesting accessories. The beds were huge and comfortable. After a good nights sleep, seeing the view from our windows was a wonderful way to start the day.

The arrangement of the house allowed us to gather in large or small groups or enjoy privacy, either outdoors or indoors.

Siliva was a gracious hostess and was invaluable in planning our stay. She made arrangements and suggestions to make this trip a success, especially the wedding day.

We enjoyed walking to the neighboring town of St. Albino, which offered all the services needed to make our stay delightful.

After our weeklong stay, we were reluctant to leave. We would highly recommend visiting Podere Monti and hope that we can return for another memorable visit.

“Fabulous and Memorable”

The villa was more than we imagined it to be. There were 16 members of family and friends all staying in this spacious home. The kitchen allowed meals and socializing without any space constraints. Each bedroom had its own individual style and was filled with beautiful antique furntire. Everyroom had a gorgeous view of the beautiful contryside. There is also ample outside areas to sit and relax and enjoy the view. Sylvia could not have been more helpful or friendly.
This was a trip of a lifetime and thanks to Podere Monti it was also a memory of a lifetime. My wish would be that someday we could go back.

“Breathtaking and exceptional”

We recently traveled to Rome for 3 days and then traveled here to meet friends- checking into this stunning villa with the views of olive groves, vineyards, and the rolling hillsides. This was a perfect setting for some rest and relaxation with great friends. Each room setting is large and comfortable with private bath and shower. The pictures will not do this villa or the scenery justice. It was an amazing experience! We used the local stores: florist, hair salon, ATM, grocers, restaurants, hardware store, fresh pasta store, cleaners...all within walking distance. It is a short 5 minute drive to Montepulciano and its shops, restaurants and wine. We also took day trips to Florence and Pienza. We made amazing memories in the huge and fully equipped kitchen- making pasta dishes from the local markets goods and also enjoying the local wines. There are quite a few areas to have private conversations and also many large areas for gathering. We enjoyed the vine covered, cafe setting patio area daily. A grill and firewood are also available. We had the trip of a lifetime with amazing friends in an amazing villa. Highly recommended!

“Our Dream Wedding and Honeymoon!!”

An amazing villa / agritourismo in the heart of Tuscany! We traveled with our family and friends from the midwest to Tuscany for our wedding and honeymoon. Podere Monti was the perfect home away from home for us. With it's spacious rooms, giant comfortable beds and modern conveniences, this rustic farmhouse has a very Tuscan and homey ambiance. We made great use of the commercial style kitchen and outdoor barbeque grill to enjoy the delicious local sausages, cured meats, cheeses, hand made pasta and fresh produce…which btw pair excellently with Silvia’s wine and olive oil from Croce di Febo. The outdoor patio with ivy covered pergola was the center of our activity, whether it was morning coffee or late night wine and cigars.

Our wedding planning would have been impossible without Silvia's assistance. She was invaluable with her knowledge of local resources to accommodate our needs and putting us in contact with the appropriate persons. With her busy schedule running the vineyard, winery, olive oil production and vacation rentals, I don't know how she found time to help us too! Fortunately for us she did, and we are grateful. We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day!

A lifetime of memories was made during our week at Podere Monti!

“AMAZING!”

Our family had the wonderful experience of coming together for a Wedding and Christening in Italy! We spent a fabulous week in the villa and could not have been more delighted with the choice! Silvia was helpful on so many levels, including allowing the wedding gown be shipped to her home, hair appointments the day of the wedding and an interpreter for the ceremonies! All the modern conveniences flow seemlessly into the Tuscan charm of the property. The villa offers multiple options for privacy as well as gatherings, so both "quiet time" and "togetherness" are individual choices. The kitchen and dining spaces are fantastic for the chef, and spacious and inviting for all. Sant Albino is a short walk and offers necessities, including a pasta shop, grocer, market, butcher, pastries, coffee shop, ATM, etc. etc. The townspeople were welcoming, charming, VERY helpful, even with the language barrier! I could write pages, the experience was so joyful! In the final diagnosis, however, I can honestly say the villa so exceeded our expectations, we collectively felt we had won the villa lottery!!! Congrats to us!! Ciao!
