“Big, spacious rooms; good food; great value.”

Location:
The hotel is located inside the walls of Montepulciano, about a 2 minute walk from the main square. It is a great location for exploring the city and the Tuscan countryside. There is parking available free of charge.

Hotel Description:
This is a small hotel above the restaurant. There is a small lobby, but it is generally unattended. For any assistance, you are directed to the restaurant staff.

Room Description:
We had a great room! We had a double room with private bathroom and shower. It was a sort of mini-suite. The entry had a small couch and table and the bed was separated by a partial wall. It was a large room. There was a TV and DVD player...but who watches TV while visiting Italy! The room was very clean and there were no issues.

Breakfast/meals:
The breakfast was not included in our room rate. It was only 5 euros each and was worth it. There were breads, pastries and rolls, hard-boiled eggs, cereals, yogurt, coffee, juice and even pie!
We also had dinner in the restaurant and it was nice. We had lasagne and pizza. The lasagne was good, but not outstanding. The pizza was however one of the better ones we had in Italy. Great crust and sauce, highly recommended.

Service/staff:
We arrived to check-in at approximately 5:00pm. However, there was nobody at the hotel or the restaurant; simply a sign on the door with instructions to call the provided number for check-in assistance. Apparently the restaurant (and check-in) is open after 6:00pm. We called the number and within 15 minutes a staff person arrived to complete our check-in. He was apologetic and we could tell he was doing his best. With his broken English and my few Italian words, we managed! Not a big deal, but it would have been preferable to know about the 6pm arrival time of staff.
The restaurant staff was very nice and we had nice meals there.

Overall:
This was one of the nicer rooms we have had while travelling in Europe. Great location as well. We were very pleased with our stay, and wished we could have spent another night there.

Room Tip: If you need parking, be sure to ask the staff for a driving map to the hotel. Montepulciano is full...

“Very Nice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 September 2011

We stayed at their new facility and the experience was very pleasant. The room number 1 was very big and confortable. A bathtube completed the accomodations. Francesca the manager, was very nice, friendly and was always available. The only reason not to rank Excellent was the internet signal that never arrived even after they told they would fix it. Anyway, Montepulciano is a city where you can stay a couple of days without internet access.

Room Tip: Make sure they arrange you in the new facility.

“2 days in the Paradise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 August 2011

When I booked a quadruple room in B&B La Dimora del Corso I don't think, it's the Paradise. Unfortunatelly, we can stayed just 2 days, but we decided we will come back! When we arrived in Montepulciano, we contacted Francesca in Trattoria di Cagnano. She was very-very kind and helpful. She showed where is the hotel parking. Then we went to the accommodation with Francesca. The room was spacious and comfortable for 4 adults!!! The beds was comfortable also! The equipment was modern and everything was very clean. We have a dinner at the Trattoria di Cagnano. The restaurant was full, but came up Francesce, and she magiced one free table. Here was my first culinary experience in Italy: Tuscan soup, and Lasagne. I know these are simple dishes, but just so great for extra flavor. We loved the little, sweet garden, which belonged the room. To be with my lover in this garden in the evening, and to drinking a bottle of Vino Nobile, and to feeling the smell of lavender: it's the Paradise, it's the true relaxation. Thanks for everything Francesca, and Trattoria di Cagnano! Rigóné Bárdosi Zsuzsanna

“Fantastic combination of location, food, service, and room”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 August 2011

Montepulciano has always been a dream destination of mine, ever since my first sip of Vino Nobile. I booked the Meuble Evoe rather last minute in the high season, and need to say it was perfect in every way. Firstly, you cannot get a better location, as it is just down the hill from the main square, and at the quieter end of the main road (which needs to be said is about as wide as a car on this end - so please don't think it means traffic noise). I have read reviews where people complain about check in times and reception - let me say, it isn't a problem. All you need to do is either walk the passage way down to the restaurant below, or ring the bell, and within one minute you are in your room with the most courteous of smiles and no problem attitude. Both sisters and the man we had contact with here are the most gentile and accomodating hosts you could want. The room was rather large, the bed very comfy and strewn with little candies, and we had a balcony over the restaurant... and the restaurant is excellent. It would be a grave mistake to come to this area and not try the Pici, and here they are hand made and cooked perfectly. You know it's a good sign when you eat here and the local people order what you order (and compliment you on your choice or recommend something for next time). I have to say, the pizza looked exquisite as well. Everything about this place makes you want to stay, and the service is the warmest and most personal you could ever want!
