Just returned from 6 nights 10/7/10. The Hotel is tucked off a side street that added a hour to our first day trying to find it. First the positive. Modern Hotel with A/C. Underground parking lot included in price. Dinner in hotel was good and a deal at 15 euro each. Front desk staff helpful . Plenty of hot water and a good firm bed. Internet available in the lobby for 3 euro for 30 min. The negative , Hotel overlooks the train tracks which brings bells and whistles at all hours. The hotel is 7 years old but looks twice that. Well worn and dirty in places. Housekeeping spotty, Missing towels on two occasions and unable to get a second pillow. Breakfast is something out right out of faulty towers less the warldorf salad. We went once and didn't go back. The area although very safe , did have ladies of the night working at the end of the block by the railroad crossing. All in all it did the trick but more like a quality inn than a real Tuscan experience.

We liked the Tuscany Inn very much, Montecatini-Termi is a great central location for all points Tuscany whether you have a car or would use the train. Day trips can readily be reached to go as far as Cinque Terre to the northwest or Siena to the south and Florence is easily reached by train 40 mins. east. No need to drive...train drops you right at the main staition w/in walking distance to the Duomo, etc. And, M-Terme is not to be unnoticed for its own historical spa venues and a short trip to go to M/catini-Alte to see an expansive panora or Tuscany likely unrivaled from any other points. A 360 degree panorama.

I booked this trip with Gate 1 Travel, which included airfare, 6 nights hotel accommodations with breakfast, and car rental for 7 days. This is one of the best values we have ever enjoyed. The cost of the car alone would normally cost half of what we paid for the entire trip. The hotel was modern, spacious, with helpful, professional staff and conveniently located near major Tuscan cities. I highly recommend both the hotel and Gate 1, which offers the best travel bargains I have come across in 40 years of intercontinental travel.

The young staff here is an outstanding asset to this hotel!! The hotel itself is clean and modern and within walking distance to shops, train and all of the towns other places of interest.
This hotel was part of a package deal which included airfare, car and room It was our first time in Italy and we definitely want to come back.
Normally I prefer older, updated hotels with more character but the staff definitely made it a pleasant stay.
