it is a good hotel, but you don't pay much, you will not get much.
street is noisy. the restaurant is not "gezellig".
they seem to serve good meals, we did not try them.
beds are good
room was clean
bedlights maybe 10 watt, not more.
owners are very helpfull. speak good english.
Montecatine itself, does not offer much, but is very central. we visited Lucca, Prato, Pisa, Florence, Livorno and Pistoia.
Parking costs 3 euro a day, ask the manager.

Hotel Savoia e Campana was a great experience from the first day until the last. The family operated hotel feels very cozy and welcoming and the two boys are very helpful if you want to go visit places around Montecatini. The rooms were very large especially for the price and the queen sized bed that me and my husband had was extremely comfortable. Our room was one of the lucky few which had a balcony out onto the street which if is busy during the day can create quite a bit of noise. Overall the stay was wonderful and comfortable and for the price extremely worth it. I cant think of anybody I wouldn't recommend this hotel to :)

The hotel was owned by two brothers and they were the sweetest
we stayed in their annex, which was tended by their father, who could speak no other language but italian but was the sweetest ever and 'mama' was in the kitchen cooking the BEST meals EVER!
The hotel was very clean and we had just a gorgeous stay, we most definitely recommend this hotel and will go back there for sure!

This hotel is an absolute bargain- the staff are outstanding and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The central location allows you to feel part of Montecatini terme without buying into the luxury hotel crap that the Montecatini council seem keen to push. The hotel is ITALIAN not american- hooray! The food is typical of the region, the features and rooms look a little like 'A Room with a View' and you really do wake up from your slumber to the sound of church bells at 8 am. Go there..... but don't tell too many people or they might ruin it with a rave somewhere and fill it full of loud, rude and opinionated english speakers....
