First, understand that Maestre is an industrial suburb of Venice-no glitz and glamour here. The hotal is located 100 meters from the train station, where taxi's and buses are also readily available. There are also decent restuarants nearby. The neighborhood isn't the greatest after dark, so be careful as you would in any urban environment.
The Chinese owners/staff were very cordial and friendly. They speak very little English though we got by with them on my rudimentary Italian.
The rooms are small by American standards and about average for European and very clean. The hotel itself is a bit dated but clean and comnfortable.
Breakfast was included and consisted of a hard boiled egg, croissant, yogurt and coffee with some delicious parma prosciutto. Wireless and wired internet is available and was free.
Overall, if you're staying a few nights this is a good choice; if you're planning a longer stay, I'd spend the extra Euro's and be more confortable elsewhere.
