We chose Hotel Paris because of their great location near the train station and very good rates. We only stayed one night as we were returning from a cruise and left Venice the next day. We arrived early around 8 am and could not check-in because it was very early. We expected that so we just left our luggage at the front desk before leaving to visit Venice. The hotel is nice, the lobby area is a bit worn down and not what the pictures on their website show so we were a bit worried that the same would apply to the rooms. Fortunately this was not the case as we found the room to be quite spacious and exactly like the pictures show. The room was very clean, had a flat screen TV (only italian channels though which was a bit dissapointing), a sofa next to the bed, a nice bathroom even though the shower was small. Also free wi-fi was working perfectly in our room.
We checked out the next day at 5 am so we didn't have the chance to try their breakfast.

The price of this hotel is quite affordable so I would recommend it to anyone wanting a hotel near the station.

I've been to this hotel twice this year already and they will be seeing me there again with loads of friends in the next couple of weeks. I like everything in this hotel. The location is exceptional. The Staff - so nice (Claudia is so helpful). The breakfast is good. I would recommend it 100%.

The room was clean and modern, breakfast was nothing special but ok (they offered us espresso and cappuccino), staff was helpful, the hotel is very close to train station and bus stop, free wifi, good value for money. Good location if you want to visit Venice from Mestre (it takes 10-15 mins to Piazale Roma or Ferrovia). We had a car and had no problem parking in the streets close to the hotel, using the parking meter.
No real complaints, bathroom was a bit small but only problem may be that it is not so easy to go from Mestre to Venice all the time (it may take a while to get where you are going) and that the night vaporetto and bus are, quite convenient but, really slow.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants a good and fairly priced accommodation near Venice and is maybe staying for one or two nights so that transportation to Venice and back is not really a big concern.

Το δωμάτιο ήταν καλό και μοντέρνο, το πρωινό όχι κάτι ιδιαίτερο αλλά καλό (μας προσέφεραν εσπρέσο και καπουτσίνο), το προσωπικό είναι εξυπηρετικό, το ξενοδοχείο είναι κοντά στο σταθμό τρένων κ σε στάση λεωφορείου για την Βενετία, δωρεάν wifi, καλή σχέση τιμής - αξίας. Η τοποθεσία είναι καλή αν θέλει κάποιος να μείνει στο Μεστρε και να επισκεφθεί την Βενετία, είναι μόλις 10-15 λεπτά από την Piazale Roma (λεωφορείο) ή Ferrovia (τρένο) και από εκεί περπατάς ή παίρνεις το βαπορέτο για όπου θέλεις. Είχαμε αυτοκίνητο και παρκάραμε σχετικά εύκολα στους δρόμους δίπλα στο ξενοδοχείο, όπου υπάρχουν παρκόμετρα.
Δεν είχαμε κάποιο ιδιαίτερο παράπονο, το μπάνιο ήτνα κάπως μικρό αλλά κυρίως το να πηγαινοέρχεσαι στην Βενετία από το Μέστρε συνεχώς δεν είναι πολύ εύκολο, χρειάζεται κάποιο χρόνο για να φτάσεις εκεί που πας και ιδιαίτερα το βραδινό βαπορέτο και λεωφορείο, αν και είναι πολύ βολικά, κάνουν αρκετές στάσεις και είναι κάπως αργά.
Θα συνιστούσα το ξενοδοχείο σε όποιον θέλει ένα καλό και σε καλή τιμή δωμάτιο κοντά στην Βενετία ειδικά αν μείνει για 1-2 βράδια οπότε οι μετακινήσεις προς και από την Βενετία δεν θα είναι μεγάλη ενόχληση.

Stayed here for 4 nights in june, found the hotel quite by accident and could not be more pleased. very good location near station and busses, but in a quiet area. good size rooms plus an excellent breakfast. the key to it all is the personnel there, from the receptiopn area to the breakfast room - everyone tries to look after you. well done Hotel Paris, if we return we will be pleased to stay again and enjoy your hospitality
