I have been going to this hotel for over 10 years....it is so affordable...one train stop from Venice....restuarant there is fantastic....ultra friendly staff....great prices at bar also....rooms are really modern and cool...as for the new rooms...some still might be the old style....you should love this place if you want to save money....

I just completed a 1-night stay here on the last day of my trip to Italy. I chose this hotel based on the rave reviews and the proximity of the hotel to the airport shuttle bus (ATVO) as well as the convenience of getting into Venice.

1) Location - Excellent. Directly across the street from the Mestre train station and the ATVO bus stop that takes you to Marco Polo Airport in 17 minutes. The train into Venice takes about 10 minutes, costs 2 EUR, and runs frequently.
2) Rooms - Excellent. The hotel rooms look brand new, spacious, clean, modern, and wonderful.
3) Front Desk - Excellent - very helpful, spoke English.
4) Bar/Restaurant - I had a few glasses of wine and dessert at the bar and the sorbet was fantastic. I ate dinner at a different restaurant so can't comment on the food. The service at the bar was a bit hairy - the staff were running around and seemed flustered. Service was ok.

Overall, I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Venice. Watching the tourists get off the train, water taxis, and vaportto hauling their luggage throughout Venice, over the bridges, was comical, knowing how easy I had it.

Good location near the train station and bus stops. Excellent staff, particularly bar and waiting personel. Great hotel, rooms clean and well equipped. Food great with a variety of choices. Highly recommended

When you visit Venice city and see the thousands of lost tourists pulling their luggage along aimlessly, you will be glad that you stayed here.
