we stayed at hotel kappa in july 2011 very friendly staff, very cooperative,and knoledgable and very helpiful especially, marco,adriana e carlo i strongly recomend this hotel to all my friends it's a small hotel situated in a very quite place and i must commend the owner who was there and was extremely friendly francesco

Clear room, close to bus line for Venice Roma station, free parking place.

This isnt a bad hotel compared to other hotels in Venice.The price is affordable but its a bit far from Venice city (about 20/25 mins on the bus).
If you like staying out late the last direct bus is before 10pm but if thats not an issue for you than I would recomend the hotel.
The wifi wasnt free but reasonable.

We decided to stay outside of Venice and choose the Kappa Hotel because it had the bus in front of the hotel (every 10 minutes) and the distance to Venice was probably about 30 minutes. We also enjoyed Mestre with its not over-priced restaurants nearby. The walls were not that thick so that it was pretty loud and the bathroom was very small. But it was ok for a weekend trip.
