This is our third stay in Mestre and we tried the Tritone this time based on value for money and other reviews. Really well located for trips into Venice by train or bus and extremely courteous service. Rooms were spotless and adequately spacious considering the time we spent in them. Bathrooms were good. Some of the rooms were too warm and the heating/air conditioning didn't work that well. The breakfast room was lovely and breakfast excellent.

The train station is just downstairs across the street, and very short trip to Venice. It is very hard to find a nice 4 star hotel with such a low price tag like this.
Very clean and comfortable rooms and very warm in winter. I especially enjoyed the help of the friendly stuff and they really know where to find the best pizza!
There are also free mineral water and snacks at the lobby for the guests.

We arrived in Venice on the train and immediately saw the hotel sign across the road. The busstop for Venice is also right outside (the bus takes about ten minutes). The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff very polite and friendly.

The hotel is excellently located close to the railway and near the bus stop. It is flanked by other hotels as well as small eateries. It serves as a great base to explore Venice, which is less than 10 minutes away by bus and you can also make day trips to Verona (20 Euros one-way) and Vicenze (4.75 Euros one-way).
The hotel room is excellent, clean, spacious and it worth every dollar. You cannot get a similar value hotels in over-priced Venice. I stayed in Venice previously and am glad I did not make that mistake this time. Breakfast was good, not great but with sufficient variety to keep you excited the next morning. Wifi is fast and available in all rooms. BUT, bring your own adapter, the hotel has none to spare us. There are free coffee at the lobby (which is no Starbucks) as well as water, croissants and tea.

We stayed for three nights at Hotel Tritone in late October 2011. The Hotel staff were very friendly, helpful, and spoke very good English, which was particularly important, as we spoke no Italian! The hotel itself is very bright, clean and has a welcoming atmosphere. The room was the same, although perhaps a bit small - we didn't mind, we weren't in Venice to stay in our hotel room.
The hotel was very quiet - we didn't hear any noise from outside. The location is very good, close to bus and train station, which made getting into Venice quick and easy.
I would highly recommend the Hotel Tritone!
