The hotel is situated in a beautiful location and the rooms facing the sea have terraces with wonderful views. Service was excellent and the use of the internet and large swimming pool made the stay even better. The hotel provides complimentary transport to and from Sorrento about every 3 hours and this is useful since a one way taxi ride is about 50 Euros. The food at the hotel for dinner is very good but the menu is limited. However, breakfast ,which comes with the room, is very good with a large selection including hot items. I would definitely recommend the hotel unless you do not want to be constrained by the shuttle bus schedule for trips to Sorrento or the Amalfi coast.

Hotel Delfino is an ideal place for couples who like a quiet holiday in a really beautiful surrounding. The rooms, restaurant and terrace have a perfect view on the island Capri. The staff is very kind and helpful. Food is delicious. You can relax by the pool or even walk down the steps and have a swim in the sea. A small hotel bus brings you to the centre of Sorrento, from where you can easily take a train to go to Naples, Pompei, Herculaneum, Vesuvius, ...
We don't often go back to the same hotel, but I really want to return to Delfino for even a few days more than this year.

When I booked this Hotel, I was under the impression it was located in Sorrento. Please do not make that mistake yourselves. Beds are hard as bricks, no Internet access from Rooms, Hotel staff rude and inconssistent, give them an average rating, as they had some good and bad days as we all do!

I will be honest and candid about all my ratings, this Hotel if it wouldn't be for the spectacular views, I would have rated it much lower.

Location: Far from everything, Shuttle Bus service is OK, but if the bus is full, local taxi service from Sorrento to Hotel Delfino runs for 70 EUR + tip, heafty clip! Hotel Delfino Taxi Service provided by Serpico (or Cerpico not sure correct spelling), was inexpensive, and a couple of the guys were SUPER!

Hotel: Clean! Staff: Had its really bad moments and Good ones. Room Ammenities: Don't expect much, BED hard as bricks, Food Quality: GO to Sorrento! Room Views: DID I SAY SPECTACULAR? Yes they are!

My wife and I are foreign Citizens of the U.S.A., we noticed the difference in treatment towards the Europeans Vs. us. We played it off, and were extremely polite and courteous, but seriously, we would never return here nor recommend it to our extended list of friends and family. Ciao

The location is lovely, the isle of Capri is in full view from most of the rooms with a sea view. Although a little out of the way, the hotel provides courtesy bus rides to Sorrento, this being the closest major town. The room we stayed in was comfortable and quite spacious with a nice open balcony with a view of Capri. The pool is in an exellent poisition. Breakfast buffet is plentiful with a good choice of food. We did not try the restaurant so we cannot comment. The staff were very courteous and attentive. The only disappointment was that the mobile telephony reception was rather flakey and Wi-Fi was really only available near the reception area. Having one's own transport will greatly enhance the stay in this lovely part of Campania.
