Hotel Carmine isn't hard to find. Even if you lose your way in town, drive around a bit and you'll find signs for the hotel. We arrived at night and to our dismay, the parking spaces in front of the hotel were all filled. The concierge was helpful in assuring us he'd take care of our car. And he did in record time because after we'd refreshed ourselves, we found our car safely parked right near the hotel entrance as we headed out for a quick dinner. There were a few good eating places within walking distance from the hotel.

Our room is to me, a bit on the small side. But the next morning, I opened the balcony door and discovered we had a fantastic balcony overlooking a lovely courtyard. Breakfast was a feast for the eyes too - the spread of mouth watering cakes, tarts, pastries was delectable and you can also get freshly squeezed OJ.

We hope to return to this hotel mainly due to its location, great service and awesome breakfast!

This is a beautiful hotel. The location was convenient. Our room was very clean and quiet. The bathroom/shower was beautifully tiled and immaculate. Friendly helpful staff.

Nicely located within walking distance of the waterfront promenade and the main street walking and shopping district, ticked in a quiet piazza. This hotel was a wonderful surprise. Staff were helpful, the room was large and tidy. They offered a very complete buffet breakfast.

We stayed one night on the way back from the Egadi Islands at the end of September.

The hotel is located in the old part of Marsala, convenient for the sights, shops and restaurants. The hotel is an old convent that has interesting modernised public areas with a panoramic lift and glass floors but retains traditional features inside and out. A first for us was a bedroom with a domed ceiling, Our room was clean comfortable and adequately equipped. We looked out over the Piazza which at times could be busy but this wasn't a great problem as when we were in the room we had the windows shut and the AC on. Breakfast was good with a very interesting selection of cakes, and served in a large room with a domed ceiling. Staff were very helpful and accommodating, we had a late check out without any problems.

The main attractions of Marsala were very close to the hotel and an overnight stay was about right to see most of the places of interest. We ate close to the hotel and had superb stuffed squid and cuttlefish at Borgo Antico, the waitress was very good and made sure our seafood was fresh, albeit a bit more expensiv than the menu.
