Stayed overnight in the hotel bit of this bleak complex rather than in the cabins. Can't reconcile the reviews posted here with reality. I expected a modern hotel; what you get is a rigid holiday camp atmosphere with no bar until 7.00pm, no shade around pool, architecture that reminded us of an open prison and the most basic facilities imaginable. Our room looked out over a row of waste collector trolleys and a concrete delivery bay. The style is definitely concrete throughout.
When we asked the receptionist about whether the restaurant was good there was the slightest hesitancy that gave it all away. She booked us for 7.30 pm at a village restaurant which was good (Orchidea) but didn't open until 7.45!
It is true this is at the heart of an area with masses to do and see and maybe children would appreciate the pool but the ugliness of the whole place depressed us from the moment we arrived. There are far better places nearer the coast.
