My family and I all went to Venice and we wanted somewhere cheaper and out of town. The best we could come up with was this hole, with prostitutes on every corner and a funfair bursting out dance music till three AM. The worst place I have ever been to and we won't be coming back.

We spent in Palladio 4 days and they were really wonderful!!!!!!
The hotel is situated not far away from Venice: it takes 15-20 minutes in bus to get to piazzale Roma: regional buses go once an hour (you can fint their schedule in the hotel and at the bus stop). You can also book a transfer at the reception, but unfortunately they offer this transfer only 4-5 times a day and only in the morning.
Near the hotel there is a lovely pizzeria, maybe one of the best in Venice (and rather cheap, too).
The staff was very helpful, they speak both italian and english, our room was very big, aircondition worked excellent, and so did tv. The only thing we didn't like is that wi-fi is not for free, but for us it wasn't very important because it is good to have rest from the Intenet during the vacation!!!

I would like to make it known how unprofessional I find this "hotel." They've just canceled a reservation made a month ago with less than 2 days until we arrive. We are now forced to look for a new hotel in Venice a week before Easter. The only positive side is that, I won't have to stay at such a terrible place. I'm not sure why we booked this hotel without really reading all the bad reviews. We couldn't even trust this hotel with a simple reservation, why would we want to trust it with our business!

The hotel is really far from the train station- at least 30-minutes on the bus and it cost a fair bit in taxi fares also. But what upset us the most was the cleanliness of the room- the bathroom floor and shower floor and shower walls were covered in other people's pubic hairs. They weren't ours, because they were there as soon as we walked into the room. There were also remnants of someone else's business in the toilet, so the toilet had clearly not been cleaned either. It was evident the floors hadn't even as so far been swept clean between clients, let alone vacuumed and mopped. The shower was also filthy with mould and clearly not cleaned properly either.
The staff were quite unfriendly and treated us as though we were second-rate for having booked on Wotif. There were signs all over the place in the dining area when having breakfast with rules and instructions- it makes one feel as though they are in Kindergarten once more.
A terrible experience, would rather have slept in a backpacker hostel. At least it would be cleaner.
