Stayed at the hotel Yacht club for 6 nights and had a great time. The room was large, spacious and very clean (got to meet the lady who cleaned our room each morning and were greeted with huge smiles and a stream of italian - of which we had no clue - but sounded very friendly...a great start to our day). THe room had excellent air con - a must in the summer heat - with window shutters - offering a relaxing siesta retreat.
The breakfast was exceptional - huge choice of fresh produce and once again the service made all the difference. Again the waiting staff could not do enough to help you - they ensured all platters were topped up frequently, brought your coffee / tea with a huge welcoming smile and really made you feel at home. we could've spent hours eating our breakfast.
THen off to the beach - one of the main attractions of this hotel is its location - it's just off the main promenade in the marina - with a beach a stones throw away. One slight disadvantage is that it is uncomfortable to lie on the beach (pebbles) so you will need to rent a lounger and umbrella - which was quite expensive - but oh so worth it. We happily spent hours under the shade - nipping in for a swim in the turquiose sea, off to the nearby restaurants for lunch, and then back to the hotel at the end of the day. All completely effortless.
Evenings were spent strolling along the promenade - gazing at the yachts , dining in the many restaurants and generally again taking it very easy.
The hotel is small, intimate, clean, well maintained in an excellent location and would highly recommend.
