Nice location across road from Lake Garda - but quite far out from Malcesine. There is a tourist bus or to walk there is a path along lake part of way (but not all way - some of way need to walk by road).

We had a side lake view from balcony. Apartment tired.

Our second year at the Lido, in a bigger appartment this year with air conditioning. Superb lake view and large balcony. Very clean and everything we needed, pool, plenty of sunloungers, garden, bikes to borrow (bike path along lake straight outside hotel going for miles in both directions), sunloungers on its' own beach by the lake and great friendly service. Eating out was varied with plenty of places to choose from in the main town which is probably a 45 minute slow walk away or 15 mins on the bikes. Closer eating places in either direction of the hotel within 10-15mins walk. Windsurfing lessons and/or hire at Stickl sport 5 mins walk away.
Highly recommended, great value for money and will return

We have just spent 2 nights at Hotel Lido and were happy with the accommodation. We booked a superior apartment so that we would have an air conditioner, but we didn't need it at all. We did have an apartment facing the lake and the view was spectacular. The apartment was clean but quite small for 3 adults. Our adult daughter had to sleep on a little pull out bed which wasn't very comfortable - would have been fine for children. The lady managing the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Basement car park was good also. Kitchen was well equipped but no washing up equipment supplied. This apartment was good for a short stay. Internet available in the sitting area which we weren't charged for. Road was quite noisy.

We stayed in Hotel Lido, Malcesine when my husband proposed to me in 2006. We returned there a year later to get married. Owners Elena and Luca accommodated most of our family and friends who travelled over to celebrate our wedding, when they ran out of rooms they found nearby hotels to stay in.

We were extremely happy with the food, service and most of all the friendliness shown to us. We felt so at home, nothing was too much to ask. They were so accommodating and friendly. All our family and friends really enjoyed their hospitality; we are still talking about our stay and will continue to do so for a long time.

We took our vows in Italian and each morning at breakfast Elena and Elenka helped us learn our vows, we had so much fun. We didn’t have a wedding planner but Elena put us in touch with the florist, hairdresser and interpreter etc. Elena also welcomed us back to the hotel for an evening reception after our meal in a local restaurant.

We cannot thank Elena at Hotel Lido enough; with her help we had a wonderful wedding day and a most memorable holiday. I recommend this family friendly Hotel to anyone staying in the beautiful town of Malcesine. We will definitely return in the near future.
