We stayed here for one night on our first night in Italy, after flying from Maldives to Milan. It was a late check-in and we were welcomed and shown to our room without having to submit any registration info. This was all done the next morning. The room was small, but very modern, and had a good choice of various language TV channels. There are both lake and mountain views from this hotel, and I would advise asking for the lake view. Breakfast was the best we had in Italy (over 10 days) with a superb view over Lake Garda. This hotel would be great in summer, as it has its own terrace and jetty onto the lake.

Renato on front desk duty was excellent with his help and general conversation on his own travels worldwide. The town centre is a 10 mintue walk along a beautiful promenade. Malcesine is fantastic. Pity the rest of Italy isn't like it...

This is the fourth time we have visited this hotel and still enjoy the family atmosphere in it. The hotel is in a beautiful site at the lake edge, the rooms are kept spotlessly clean, and the staff and management are really friendly and helpful. This was proved this year when I had a dental problem and they went out of their way to make phone calls and appointments for me. We especially like the restaurant arrangement where you can read the evening menu each morning and then decide if you want to eat in the hotel or elsewhere that night.

We have just returned from 11 days at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent, breakfast is continental with lots of choice including scrambled eggs. Dinner is served to your table overlooking the lake. The menu is varied with 3 courses with a salad bar after the first course.
The room we were in had a lake view, with a fridge for the customers use, and a kettle, the balcony was large with table 2 chairs and loungers, the fixture and fittings were in a light wood which gave a bright feel to the room. Drinks from the bar were reasonable priced. Pool towels are available.
There is adequate parking in the hotel grounds.
All in all a great hotel.

We stayed here whilst attending a wedding. The hotel is modern, very clean, has a decent pool and is also right on the lakeside. The food is perfectly adequate although not outstanding, it is nice and has waiter service apart from the breakfast buffet and salad bar. They do snacks during the day, toasties etc which are also fine. We had a standard room although at the time of booking I was sure I had booked a superior room this was through Thomsons not the hotel itself so make sure you have it written down if booking through them. The staff are lovely very friendly and happy to help, it is a family who run it with extra staff. My only complaints would be a it was a little penny pinching not providing tea, coffee etc in the room although a kettle was supplied, and very little in the way of soap. The position is fantastic right on the lake front and a 15 minute walk into the town centre all on the flat along a paved promonade so easy walking. I can definately recommend it.
