Myself, My husband and our two kids have just returned from a fantastic short break at the Hotel Capri. Lake Garda and the town of Malcesine are absolutely stunning and we wouldnt hesitate to return.
Our room in the hotel was lovely, a great size with a wet room (with an amazing shower) and a separate bathroom equipped with jacuzzi bath. The view was second none even our two kids were mesmerised by it. The staff at the Hotel Capri were really friendly and could not do enough for us, really went the extra mile to ensure our stay was enjoyable.
I agree with another reviewer that it is a 4 star hotel rated as 3 star.
Would reccomend this hotel to anyone visiting Lake Garda.

In my opinion a 4 stars hotel rated as a 3 stars hotel.
A little bit hard to find with a navigation system because the street name must have changed.
Nice, clean,comfortable rooms with great wiews over over the lake.
Good food.
The manager was very friendly and helpful.
We had a very nice staying at Capri.

we are a couple with 2 kids under age 2, traveled to lake garda for a 3 nights to have a quick holiday alone. we chose malcesine based on recommendations and lack of accomodation at some of the more southern towns on garda. although it's a hike to get there when you're time is so precious, we're so glad we made the decision to stay here. the hotel owners were friendly, helpful, and our room was spotless with a gorgeous view. we enjoyed everything malcesine had to offer (including watching an AWESOME lightening/thunder storm on the rooftop terrace - which was always empty so it felt so private!). loved the room service - pina colada's on our balcony overlooking the water and the mountain was bliss. breakfast overlooking the water/mountains was most scenic! would love to return to hotel capri again sometime.

It is difficult to believe that there are better hotels in Malcesine, certainly of a three star status. You are made to feel very welcome from day one and the quality and variety of meals cannot be faulted. The rooms at the front of the hotel have wonderfull views over Lake Garda and are very spacious and well appointed. Everywhere is kept extremely clean and any problems are quickly sorted out by the friendly staff. This is a family run hotel and they are always involved in attending to their guests from early breakfast to late drinks in an evening. Many clients have been to the hotel on numerous occasions which tells its own story!
