This is a wonderful hotel in a great location. Maiori doesn't have the crowds that Amalfi has and the hotel is in an ideal location. Easy walk to good restaurants (Mammatos and La Vella). Hotel is tastefully decorated with lots of painted ceramic tiles, great views of the coastline from your private balcony, and a private beach. Leave the doors open at night, and the sea will lull you asleep. I would stay there again with no doubt!!

Without notice our tour organiser (Trafalgar) moved us from the Panorama and we couldn't have been happier.
This hotel is at the quieter end of the main Maiori beach area. The room we had was charming with tiled floors, a spacious balcony overlooking the beautiful Amalfi coastline. We liked and enjoyed everything about this Hotel including access to the beach.
We hope to return to this area again and the Sole Spendid will be or hotel of preference

What a pleasant surprise when we neared the end of our Tour of Italy. This is a beutiful gem of a hotel by the Sea on the Amalfi Coast. Our room had a beautiful view of the water, as do most of the guest rooms. The room was large, well-furnished, and clean. Almost every room has a balcony to enjoy the evening breezes. Beach facilities are offered without extra charge. Breakfast was very nourishing with good variety. If and when we return to Italy, we would want to spend a week at the Sole Splendid. I recommend it highly.
