“Absolutely spot on!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 September 2010

Stayed for a couple of nights either side of a climbing trip in the Brenta; owners were fantasic, very helpful, and even drove us to the lift in our car when we went up into the mountains. Breakfasts hit the spot, the spa was just what was needed at the end of the day.
In short; great value, clean, v comfortable, great service & great hosts, next time when we're back in the summer we'll stay here again.

“Great hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 September 2010

Stayed for 11 nights in Sept 2010. One of the best hotel experiences I've had. The managers are very friendly, gracious, EXTREMELY helpful and speak English (as well as, of course, Italian). I had a Classic room -- their smallest size. It was more than enough. The bathroom is very large with a separate shower and large tub, toilet, bidet. There is also a large walk-in closet with lots of shelves and drawers. I had half board (breakfast and dinner) and the food was always excellent and plentiful, with several choices of 1st and 2nd courses each night. Well located, within easy walking distance of most ski lifts. For those arriving by bus, the bus stop is about a block away. Rooms have a nice-sized flat screen TV and (wired) high speed internet connection is available in-room. There is a spa (beauty and wellness center) available that I did not investigate. Exceptional value and my highest recommendation.

“So well looked after in a wonderful family-run hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 August 2010

Francesco and his wife (plus team) at Hotel Diana looked after us incredibly well right from the moment that we first called them to make our initial enquiries. Given that we speak no Italian we had been finding it very tricky to research a via ferrata holiday in the Dolomites. Francesco was able to give us so much useful information and advice on our eventual hiking route.

Much of the hotel has been relatively recently refurbished to a modern and comfortable standard. We were lucky enough to have a refurbished room for our initial stay at the hotel. Upon our return from our 3 day hike Francesco had clearly listened to our request for a balcony and showed us to a huge family room with a massive balcony.

When our mountain bike ride became a bit too hilly Francesco was able to advise us on how to get a bus back to town. He also drove us to the gondola lift station on the first day of our hike, which was really appreciated.

Francesco was always on hand to advise us of activities and excursions in the local area which was really appreciated.

The rest of the team were also wonderful. Francesco's wife worked incredibly hard in the restaurant - delicious traditional Italian food and loads of it. Marco really knew his stuff with the wine and was always more than happy to share his thoughts on various wines with us. The spa facilities in the hotel were wonderful and so appreciated after 3 days up in the mountains on the via ferrata.

All in all we had a wonderful holiday made all the more special by everyone at Hotel Diana. We couldn't recommend it highly enough!!

“The perfect hotel in Madonna di Campiglio”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 June 2010

We were lucky enough to stay here when it was a three star going for a four star--which it got in 2010. The hotel is good, the food is amazing. Not only beautiful, but delicious. Even after a full day of skiing, we were hard pressed to eat a starter, pasta, meat, sides, and dessert! After the second night, my son who is very picky, asked if he could have the Pasta Arrabiata. They brought it with a smile, and brought it every subsequent night without even being asked. One day my older daughter felt too tired to make it to the slopes, and she spent a quiet day in the hotel. The hotel was very happy to serve her a very nice lunch--even though they didn't serve lunch at all!

The facilities are really nice as well. There is a jacuzzi with a panoramic view of the Dolomites. I would advise potential visitors not to dunk their heads under, as the go lightly on the chlorine in the jacuzzi. There is also a sauna and a solarium.
