“home away from home, really”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 September 2011

Great hotel with recent expansion/refurbishment, friendly owners and staff, and a quiet location just steps away from everything Madonna di Campiglio has on offer. Overall an inviting atmosphere that made us feel at home, as much as one can in a hotel of course ;-)

My wife and I stayed seven nights while we enjoyed a week of hiking. Francesco suggested some routes, advising us to avoid one trail that I had planned to hike (glad he did), and even gave us a ride to the Groste gondola one day so we could avoid a boring 2-3K road hike.

We had a comfort room that was good-sized (by European standards) with both a tub and shower in the bath, a seating area with a sofa, and a walk-in closet providing both space for hanging and shelves. The room also had a flat screen TV with Sky (although we never actually used it) and wired internet. I received a weak wireless signal in the room, however a full strength signal is available in the lounge and terrace area.

Breakfast and dinner were spot-on offering a broad selection at each. We chose from the menu every evening although observing other tables it appeared that the staff was happy to provide anything you might desire at both breakfast and dinner. Our need for nourishment was also satisfied in the afternoons with our post-hike wine and beer on the terrace accompanied with snacks that varied day to day.
This being our eleventh trip to the alps we've stayed in many hotels, Hotel Diana is definitely one of the best and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Madonna di Campiglio.

“Excellent food, friendly and hospitable staff, great skiing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 April 2011

We are now regular visitors to this hotel and this resort. We have stayed in numerous resorts and hotels in the Alps over the past 25 years.
We prefer smaller Family owned and managed hotels. The hotel Diana is distinguished by its excellent food and the general ambience created by friendly and helpful staff. We also appreciate the spa facilities after a hard days skiing.
The hotel is convieniently located close to the key lift stations and the resort has a really interesting ski area with good mountain bar and restaurant facilities.
We will be returning next year!

“Great hotel with family staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2011

We had a very nice week at the hotel due to all facilities but also to friendly staff.

We had a small room but the snow conditions were incredible. Consequently we have enjoyed Madonna.

The spa is very nice with all needed facilities. The hot tub has a very nice view to the slopes...

Definitely, we will come back...

“Absolutely spot on!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 September 2010

Stayed for a couple of nights either side of a climbing trip in the Brenta; owners were fantasic, very helpful, and even drove us to the lift in our car when we went up into the mountains. Breakfasts hit the spot, the spa was just what was needed at the end of the day.
In short; great value, clean, v comfortable, great service & great hosts, next time when we're back in the summer we'll stay here again.

“Great hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 September 2010

Stayed for 11 nights in Sept 2010. One of the best hotel experiences I've had. The managers are very friendly, gracious, EXTREMELY helpful and speak English (as well as, of course, Italian). I had a Classic room -- their smallest size. It was more than enough. The bathroom is very large with a separate shower and large tub, toilet, bidet. There is also a large walk-in closet with lots of shelves and drawers. I had half board (breakfast and dinner) and the food was always excellent and plentiful, with several choices of 1st and 2nd courses each night. Well located, within easy walking distance of most ski lifts. For those arriving by bus, the bus stop is about a block away. Rooms have a nice-sized flat screen TV and (wired) high speed internet connection is available in-room. There is a spa (beauty and wellness center) available that I did not investigate. Exceptional value and my highest recommendation.
