This was our first Skiing holiday and we loved it. We has Christmas here.
Yes it's true that Fuasto is Basil Fawlty. He's a really great guy as are all of the staff here.
The rooms are clean and comfy, the showers are very small though. Food was fine, not the best but still good. Continental breakfast and a three course evening meal included.
A word of warning, Christmas Eve and New years eve are celebrated but Christmas day is very quiet.
The Silvestri lacks a nice comfy lounge but Olley's bar just over the road is great. We were regulars and on Christmas eve we were in there with pickle eggs, mince pies and quality street (the eggs raised a few eye brows).
Love Italy, Love Skiing, Love Livigno and loved the Silvestri.
