we were cheerfully collected from Lipari port and on arrival at the hotel offered the choice out of 2 rooms, one with kitchenette and one without. We choose the bigger of the two, which also had a spacious balcony with a beautiful sea view. The room was modestly furnished, but spacious and clean. The shower was very tied. Reception staff was cheerful and very welcoming. Breakfast was OK. Lipari port and city centre was 10 minutes walk.
We enjoyed our 3 days stay.

Very nice experience. We were given the choice of two rooms, both were spacious - one with a kitchen or one with a bigger bed. We were only there for the weekend so we picked the bigger bed. The hotel is on a quiet street just a few blocks from the main street with all the shops and restaurants. The lady at the front desk was very nice and answered all our questions. Breakfast was a typical European one. Would stay here again.

This place is right around the corner from everything you want to be near. The strip is not far, and the cheeky little beach at the end of the street is a great place for a dip. Monica (proprietor) watches the operations closely, and it shows.

We stayed at Baia Portinenti for three nights during our honeymoon trip of Sicily. Loved it - it was definitely the best hotel we stayed at!

We looked on the website and emailed them to say we were arriving and could they pick us up at the port. The reply came back almost immediately saying yes! They also gave us a lift back to the port at the end of our stay, which we did not expect, but fully appreciated!!

Right from the beginning the staff were really friendly and helpful - we got loads of info and booked our Stromboli tour through them.

We specifically wanted a room with a kitchenette and it was lovely. The room was huge, the bed was also huge and comfy and everything was so clean and neat.

We had a seaview balcony and felt really at home. The bathroom was modern and clean, and the shower good - once we had worked out how to turn the hot water on!

The breakfast was really tasty - tea & coffee, toast, bread, cereal, yoghurts, jam etc, with gorgeous surroundings.

Also there is free internet on a computer just for guests, which was really useful for us.

The only slight niggles were the kitchen wasn't very well equipped - could've done with a proper cutting knife and chopping board.

Also there is a hot tub outside which we were really looking fwd to, but it wasn't hot - just lukewarm!

However those things did not affect our enjoyment and I would stay again without hesitation.
