Hotel APinnata is small gorgeous, tranquil hotel overlooking the sea and marina of Lipari. Antonello, the manager, was extremely helpful & sent the very kind Donillo to pick me up at the ferry as soon as I arrived. I stayed for 3 nights/4 days here.

My spotless room was huge with a matching large terrace overlooking the breath-taking view of the marina and sea. I watched the Vulcano on the other island erupt and smoke as I lounged eating my breakfast sent up each morning by calling room service. You can also go down for breakfast and there are more choices there. The hotel must be fairly new as everything is spotless and so well kept. The room had a mini bar/fridge, a safe, a massage shower, & great remote control a/c.

There is a bus stop a bit down the road that you can take to/from town or the very local beach but if you ask at reception Donillo would also be happy to take you for free. The bus makes a last pick up in the center of town at 11pm.

For dinner in Lipari I highly highly recommend eating at both Il Filipino and E' Pulera. I had some amazing dishes at both! I think the hotel owns these restaurants and both are so good!!! Delicious and the restaurants for both were lovely.

One thing to note- I was traveling alone and loved hotel A Pinnata’s spotless, tranquil, beautiful room/setting. However, for single travelers you may wish to stay more in the center of town as it is easier to do more things.
