First of all, the main lesson learned is that nobody should believe these ratings on tripadvisor, especially if the total number of ratings is below 100. I must confess that number one rating of this hotel and positive reviews has played a major role in making the decision to stay at this hotel. Now, after I'm back, I've done what I should have done before — checked every review and yes, I was right, all these reviewers have written only one and only review on tripadvisor, shortly after the initial registration and haven't been visiting the website since a few days after writing a review. Make conclusions for yourself as I don't want to blame anyone.

As for the hotel itself - pretty ordinary, clean, but not more than that. The room was small, yes, very small. The shower was ancient, non-adjustable — basically you can't take a shower without washing your hair. Sheets and towels were changed every day, however, we couldn't stop thinking that the smell in the room slightly reminded me of a smell of a cleaned public toilet probably because of the detergents they used.

The breakfast was quite good, but again, can't share the excitement of the some reviewers here.

In general I found Lignano to be a boring place, although it's my personal opinion and does not have to be an advice for someone else. There are a lot of cars in the city as most tourist travel here themselves, so if you wish to escape the exhaust smog of your city, go somewhere else, to an island.

Stevens, Essex, UK. The Eurovil belongs to a very small number of marvelous family hotels. It is very close to some very good shops and the delightful beach is within easy walking distance. The breakfast is unsurpassed for an hotel of this size. The hotel has a garden of pine trees and shrubs, which go together to make a very
enjoyable holiday. It really is worth a visit.

Superb hotel with magnificent garden and friendly staff. Will stay here again!
