“Warm and Fantastic Place with historical-cultural memory”

It is not the first time for me in Italy, nor to this most friendly hotel in Tuscany. It is always a great pleasure for me to return to a home-like hotel under the sun of Tuscany. After some visits with friends, then once with my family, we all love this place, especially for the GREAT and FAMILY-LIKE service. The lobby with Galileo Chini paintings, the small but so lovely Bar counter at the ground floor and cool Italian staff. We all love to be back there on our next trip back to Toscana. I am going back there next week!

“The Perfect place to stay.”

This is our 5th stay at the Hotel i Pini. We wish that we had found it sooner. On the way home we were planning our next trip in 2011! Everyone who works at the hotel is wonderful! The local is perfect: close to the beach but without the noise. The garden is beautiful; a perfect place to relax and enjoy the perfect Italian experience. If you love to mix shopping with culture and architecture, Lucca is only 20 mins away. Loads to see and do in the area. If a beach holiday is what you are looking for, look no further!

“Pleasant hotel”

Well located close to beach if you want a seaside holiday but we were using as a base close to Pisa airport and Cinque Terre - served this function admirably but we found the beach a bit overwhelming in terms of volume of beach furniture
Public areas showed lots of Chini's art work which is quite unusual and gave it charm
Service good - all staff very helpful
Dinner outside well worth while - wine excellent
Bedroom a little on the small side (with a big balcony!) but bathroom tiny (shower / basic / WC)

“Beautiful place with charming people on the Tuscan coast”

We spotted this hotel in Internet an year or two ago when planning our future italian trip but only this August we managed to do it and stayed in the Hotel Club I Pini with all our family 5 August days getting rest on the quiet sea after well known museums in the hot and magic Florence and making short trips to the nearby attractions.
And, definitely, we didn't make a mistake: the charming and romantic historical villa located just 5 minutes walk from the sea and a short drive time from such places as Torre del Lago Puccini, Pisa, and Lucca, dinners gourmet experience (old Vin Santo with cantuccini on the first evening were simply remarkable)... And all this we enjoyed in the charming athmosphere created by the highly attentive people with love, smile and every minute readiness to fulfill every our wish (all my family is thankful to Claudio, Nicola, Paola, Monica...).
It was our first trip to Italy and we fell in love with this country and its people - we will definitely travel to here more times and will try to make our itinerary via the Hotel Club I Pini (maybe, to participate in cooking classes and play tennis - who knows?).

“Charming setting and people.”

This was a very enjoyable stay in Tuscany. My wife and I stayed on the top floor in the suite. It was fairly basic but clean and comfortable. As you would find in most hotels like this the shower is very small (and why is there NEVER anywhere to put you shampoo/shower gel?). The view out of the back over the hills was beautifull.
The staff were extremely helpfull and friendly and couldn't do enough for you.
The food was good but unusual at times (they really skimp on the veg in Italy don't they?) ie a large piece of beef with a few beans and some gravy.

Down at the beach was a little disappointing though. Although the sea was warm and clean the public beach was just a strip about 20 metres wide going down to the sea which was obviously quite busy as the private beaches charge around 15 Euro's a day for their facilities!

There are plenty of nice resurants and bars along the sea front which has recently been modernised and is very clean.

Overall an enjoyable stay in a beautiful hotel.
