this is a real tourist trap since Lecce has no other similar hotels in the city. If you only can, try using B&B in the city or in the area.
I'm currently in room 101 and this is perhaps the worst room in this hotel which is nothing to write home about anyway.
I stayed here for business several times in the past. Had no choice cause this is where my host can put me. The hotel is old, ill maintained and although some public areas have been renovated, the general feeling is that nobody really cares to maintain it properly. The elevator still directs you to the breakfast hall which they have closed down, just to illustrate what I mean. The people at the reception are not helpful and gives you the feeling that you are not really wanted. Try to ask for a WIFI username and password and they will give you a look. Yesterday, I arrived late and asked to have it by calling the reception and the guy simply told me a wrong fact - that it can be used in the lobby only..so to sum up - avoide if you can
