Easy walk from railway station, on main street of old Lecce, 5 mins walk from main square. Renata was very helpful and welcoming, we had to stay additional nights because my wife was ill and Renata made it all easy for us. We found tea making facilities very useful. Breakfast on the terrace as everyone says is excellent both in terms of quantity and quality of food but also of the atmosphere. I should point out that there are 3 flights of quite steep stairs to negotiate. Also need to pay cash.

Room was very pleasant, with private shower toilet but not much view from the window. Bed had a mosquito net but we didn't need it since we were there in October. Free WiFi was very useful.

Lecce is a lovely city lots of small streets to wander around with some interesting restaurants and bars to find. We were lucky enough to be there during the wine festival which was fun and sociable.

Very pleasant room, lots of light, comfortable bed and a terrace available for relaxing. Satisfying breakfasts of cereal, bread, rolls, jice, coffee out on the sunny terrace. Enjoyable talking with other guests. Renata was very helpful in terms of offering advice. Her new baby Frederico was the star - just 45 days old when we arrived. Great location near historic center, Be aware that there are stairs to climb to get to room. Lecce is a wonderful city: Sights, people, food, and within easy reach of other cities in the Salento.

We arrive mid day, the door is locked, no one answers, no one is around. This is not a good start. We borrow a phone, she is way out in the country and wont be back for a few hours, "can we come back?" As the gentleman who was there to check us out and be paid (cash only) said, "you cant be tied to your business", and that is clearly their attitude. The room, once someone arrived to let us in, was large and breakfast terrace was lovely, but this not an acceptable way to run a B&B.

My partner and I stayed at Prestige B & B for two nights and could not have asked for a more welcoming and warm feeling for Lecce. Alongside being in a prime location and easy to find, the continental breakfast served on the terrace overlooking the main stretch of Lecce was a great start to an Italian day. And to finish the evening , the traditional music of Italy echoed through the streets and into the bedroom window.
