“accomodation in lecce”

We stayed 5 days in Villa Djerba,off via Monteroni west side of Lecce.Quite near the motorway.Not easy to find .There are 2 self catering flats,small gym and a good sized pool.Good supply of breakfast food supplied first day and you are then left up to your own devices.Pool closes for winter end of September and opens June 1st..It is in the grounds of a large house and owners live on site but don't bother you;available if required.
We ate 3 times at a restaurant called Rertro which is just by the traffic lights where via Monteroni joins the inner ring road.Enormously disappointed by the 2 places we tried in the old town-RETRO beat them hands down and better prices.

P.S.We stayed in both flats because 1st flat had small leak after rain for 24 hours.You would need a car to get around and we parked about half mile from the old city and walked in.No problem parking that far from the town.Would stay at Djerba again-would be great in June or sept with the pool.
