“Artistic Sweet Place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 December 2010

This charming B&B has just two suites , thus its name, Sweet Place . It is in the town center, but where there is no noise at all, behind a church (Chiesa Greca) . The owner is Matt Pino , a very charming man who bends over backwards to offer a custom package, he even has tours guided by himself. He is a physicist and not only attractive, young but very cultured and speaks perfect English (see foto ) . There is a kitchen area for both suites to share with discretion and also a lounge area. Then the wellness situation has 4 options which can be seen in the website, which is very modern and the booking can be done on-line with all the variations he offers. Every detail has been pondered to make an overall picture of happiness. You have a refrigerator compartment, etc etc .are very free but obviously must respect the other suite in the shared areas.

“A true Leccese experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 September 2010

We have just spent 4 nights in the Pasticciotto room and it was a lovely experience. The room is comfortable and cleverly designed with room to relax, work, read, etc. It doesn't have much natural light, but that was ok because we had fresh air and gorgeous surroundings. The common areas are comfy and make this a fantastic place to retreat to during siesta time. We were grateful of the kitchen and dining table. The location is also excellent - right in the heart of the old town but also near a beautiful little park that we could run around and get fresh air. Our host welcomed us warmly and gave us excellent advice of what to see and where to eat. We will definitely stay here again next time we're in Lecce. We were dissapointed that we couldn't use the bikes at Sweet Place and it was too hard to try and hire the city bikes (which tourist will pay 25 euro per bike?). It would be great if Sweet Place could make this easier.

“great location and extremely helpful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 September 2009

Stayed for 3 nights recently in stunning Lecce. The B&B is about as good a location as you could hope for. A very atmospheric building and our host was extremely helpful, reliable and friendly. If you want to visit Lecce, enjoy the city and borrow the bikes to zip around all set in contemporary and stylish surroundings this is the place.

“really a sweet place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 April 2008

hi travelling mate, i'm from sweden
we (me and my girlfriend) have been to lecce for 6 days and who could imagine to find such a nice place!?!
our B&B is just in the center of the historic side of the town, our suite "pasticciotto" was really sweet and hospitable. they gave us 2 bike for free and let us use the kitchen.
the building dates back to XVI century and it has an incredible wellness center inside (you wouldn't expect to find it!!!)
and after all lecce and salento is very very beautiful!!!
take a look at the website!
