Whilst touring Umbria in the heat of June/July, we chose only those hotels with a swimming pool.
On arrival at the Molino Rosso we immediately went to view the swimming pool to find that it was a heaving mass of humanity. No chance to actually swim and very little spoace to lay a towel on the concrete. Reason - it is also a public pool and the whole of Imola seemed to have decided to pay a visit. We never used it in our 3 day stay.

Otherwise hotel was a comfy keenly-priced business hotel in a good position for visits to Ravenna etc.

Stay here several times a year for a break, love the town of Imola which is sometime over looked by tourists.
This hotel is a great base to explore, its clean, friendly, and very cosy.
Do eat at San Domenico, expensive but worth it, spent many a new years eve here.

Very nice hotel, large rooms, good restaurant and friendly staff.
