We booked last minute through Thomson and were delighted with this small friendly family based 4 star hotel.
Situated on the eastern edge of this busy resort on the venitian Rivera. Convenient to reach by local bus but far away to be nice and quiet.
The hotel is situated on the beach and is very professional run. The food was excellent and the service matched the quality. Unlike some hotel you often have to compete with a buffet style breakfast and evening meal, at the Gallia we enjoyed waiter service.
A trip to Venice is a must cost 16 Euros from the the hotel via local transport, bus to the port and ferry to St Mark's Square, ticket also covers all water taxis and ferries to the 3 small islands off Venice.
We shall certainly return.
